The backbone of Turkish language education in the new curriculum consists of four complementary core skills: listening/watching, speaking, reading, and writing. As SME Akademi, we bring these four fundamental skills to life with our boutique education model as follows:
1. Reading (Comprehension and Critical Filter)
Old Approach: Merely fast reading and marking options.
SME Akademi Approach: The student is enabled to see the subtext of what they read, question the author's purpose, and build logical bridges between texts. This depth forms the foundation of new-generation paragraph and comprehension questions.
2. Listening / Watching (Holistic Perception)
Old Approach: Passively listening to the teacher in class.
SME Akademi Approach: Exercises are conducted to capture the essence of information through active listening skills, accurately filter verbal data, and combine visual/auditory stimuli into a meaningful whole in the mind.
3. Speaking (Self-Expression and Oratory)
